This five-day course reflects the NFPA guidelines for Technician Level training.
Teams operating at this level can:
- Respond to the collapse of a trench, or intersecting trenches, deeper than eight feet or those in extreme environmental conditions.
- Build, install, and remove all types of supplemental shoring following tabulated data and engineering practices.
- Properly use all other types of manufactured protective systems.
Prerequisites: Excavation Safety Competent Person training.
