- Surface Mine Rescue Operations
The purpose of this five-day course is to meet the requirements for a surface mine search and rescue team. - Surface Mine: Steep Angle/Dumps
This class focuses on developing the skills and knowledge needed to respond effectively to vehicle incidents that occur on dumps. - Surface Mine: Vertical Shaft
This course teaches students how to perform organized, systematic rescues in these environments. - Surface Mine: High Angle
This course teaches students how to perform organized, systematic rescues using rope rescue techniques from a variety of elevated surfaces including towers, scaffolds, conveyors, dump truck cabs, and confined spaces.

Surface Mine Rescue Operations
This program develops the technical and safety skills required by surface mine rescue teams. This includes initiating an emergency response, establishing a command structure, sizing-up hazards, ensuring the team safety, and accessing/transporting the patient(s).
Surface Mine: Vertical Shaft
This course teaches students how to perform organized, systematic rescues in these environments. Participants will learn the procedures and systems required for rigging appropriate rope systems and evacuating patients.
Surface Mine: High Angle
This course teaches students how to perform organized, systematic rescues using rope rescue techniques from a variety of elevated surfaces including towers, scaffolds, conveyors, dump truck cabs, and confined spaces.
