Industrial Rescue: Train the Trainer

Tempe, AZ- December 7-10, 2010
The purpose of this four-day course is to provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to train members of their location's industrial rescue team.
 
The focus of the class will be on confined space operations but the principles covered will apply to a wide range of rescue scenarios.
 
The class will use D2000's updated rescue training curriculum. Released in July, 2010, this program features a modular design which can be easily adapted to a variety of industrial environments.
 
All participants will receive a Leader's Guide, PowerPoint presentations, sample student materials, skills checklists and a variety of other resources.
 
This class will also provide multple opportunities to apply advanced high angle rope techniques to industrial rescue operations. The class is designed for team leaders, rope technicians, and other safety professionals who require an in-depth understanding of rope rescue systems.
 

Prerequisites: Before attending this class, students need to have completed confined space entrant and attendant training and have a background in rope rescue. In addition, they need to have previous training or a background in First Aid/CPR, Respiratory Protection, and Hazardous Materials.
