 This unit combines a Vertex Best helmet with a tiltable hybrid light source: halogen and 14 LEDs.
Halogen light source for works well for long distance lighting (100 m). The 14 LEDs provide white light at three levels: maximum, optimum, economic.
The LEDs can maintain constant level of lighting for up to 63 hours and automatically switch to reserve power mode when the batteries are almost completely discharged.
The headlamp is waterproof down to 15 feet (5 m).
The chinstrap reduces the risk of the helmet coming off as a result of an impact during a fall.
The polycarbonate shell is resistant to impact and wear (meets EN 397 industrial helmet standard and EN 12492 standard) and meets the optional requirements of the EN 397 standard regarding lateral deformation, low temperatures, and molten metal splash.
This helmet does not meet optional requirements of the EN 397 standard regarding electrical insulation.
Side slots can be used for mounting hearing and/or eye protection. The cut of the shell contours over the ears to fit standard hearing protection.
A single headband size adjustment wheel provides comfort and versatility. The adjustment wheel and rear chinstrap attachment point have two height positions, to adjust the position of the straps on the neck and around the ears. Chinstrap buckles can be adjusted forwards and backwards.
