Yates Rescue Figure 8 Descender Y-1026
This device made of forged alloy aluminum was designed by the "Wizard of Iron," Denny Moorhouse, (the designer of the original figure 8 descender back in 1968).
Manufactured in Wales at International Safety Components, it is forged for strength and durability.
The Rescue 8 has ears to aid in locking off. It includes a hard coat anodized finish. This descender will accommodate 10-16mm ropes. The rig point will allow multiple carabiners to pass through the hole.
