Confined Space: Train-the-Trainer

The objective of this confined space training is to teach students how to train workers to comply with the provisions of their location's written confined space program. Essential elements of a comprehensive permit pace program include:

  • Identifying the location's confined spaces and assessing the hazards.
  • Establishing work policies and procedures to manage those hazards.
  • Proper use of the safety equipment (e.g., gas monitors, ventilators, harnesses, tripods) needed to follow safe work policies and procedures.
  • Having access to an onsite rescue capability or contracting the the services to professional standby rescuers.

This course meets the requirements of OSHA 1910.146 and can also be offered on-site.
