Confined Space: Train-the-Trainer

The objective of this course is to teach students how to train workers to comply with the provisions of their location's written confined space program. Essential elements of a comprehensive permit pace program include:

• Identifying the location's confined spaces and assessing the hazards.
• Establishing work policies and procedures to manage those hazards.
• Proper use of the safety equipment (e.g., gas monitors, ventilators, harnesses, tripods) needed to follow safe work policies and procedures.
• Having access to an onsite rescue capability or contracting the the services to professional standby rescuers.

This course meets the requirements of OSHA 1910.146 and can also be offered on-site.
